Project Runway

As one of my favourite projects, art directing and creating the style frames for the look of this Project Runway Australia launch promo made it one of my highlights as a production designer and art director. Although the catch was working with a small budget for a big look, I loved designing the set and look that ran away with the circus with a twist of a sewing theme throughout. For each character, I designed highly detailed style frames which became the roadmap for bringing to life each scene on set. Post shoot, I lovingly graded the whole spot, composited motion control shots, added visual effects of fire and smoke, and designed and animated the rest of all the motion graphics. It was wonderfully satisfying to run away with an idea and see it through to the final frame of this spot!
